Heavy downpours with the potential for flash flooding, and a few severe wind gusts will be the primary threats.

Rain and occasional thunder & lightning will persist into the overnight with a gradual end by early morning.

Additional afternoon storms will be possible on Monday, but drier air in expected to nudge into area by Tuesday. That will set up mostly sunny weather for mid-week with little to no t-storm activity.

Nonetheless, more sun and less rain will mean hotter temps as highs hit the lower 90s by Thursday.
